The help we receive from parents and grandparents is invaluable and is much appreciated by staff.  Anyone interested in helping within school, and who have just a few spare hours a week, should speak to a member of staff or call in at the school office.

Parents can help in many ways including:

• Listening to children read
• Accompanying children on educational visits

Regular helpers in school are all checked by the Disclosure and Barring Service in line with child protection guidelines.  This is a straightforward process and the office will be happy to assist you.
